Wood Pictures
Teatro della Mandarina Company
There Wood Pictures was born from the initiative of a group of friends united by a passion for cinema, theater and more ...
The non-profit association was officially constituted on January 30, 2006 and in the same period the shooting of the film started "The Master of Languages" , the first project signed by Wood Pictures.
The making of the film involved the absolutely voluntary energies of the nearly 200 people who in various ways participated in the project, starting with the shooting up to post-production, creating a product that after the national premiere at the Teatro Pavone in Perugia, on January 9, 2009 , had eight television shows on digital channels. Despite the interest and availability of a cinema theater manager in central Italy, distribution was not possible for strictly bureaucratic reasons.
In recent years the Association's activity has focused on theatrical productions, staging brilliant comedies which, since their debut in 2009, have enjoyed considerable success. The theatrical section of Wood Pictures bears the name "Compagnia Teatro della Mandarina" and brought together local actors from different backgrounds, some of whom returned to the stage for the occasion, after years of absence from the stage.
