Edward's large family , an esteemed man, a caring husband and a loving father, come together to greet him.

His wife Sandra, supported by his son Daniel and his caring daughter-in-law Jane , is joined by the other son Robert with his beautiful wife Claire , his brother-in-law Victor , his restless nephews , a greedy aunt , a hasty priest , some family friends "above the rows ”and a mysterious stranger .
