APPEARANCES ARE DECEIVING
Left by his wife Christine and with a teenage son who does not have the slightest consideration of him, the meek and kind François Pignon takes refuge in his job as an accountant at a well-known "rubber products" factory.
When he accidentally learns that he will soon be fired for redundancy , taken by despair and without the support of those he loves, he sees in an extreme gesture the solution to put an end to his gray existence.
It will be the providential intervention of his new neighbor to trigger a series of unpredictable and hilarious consequences that will give new color to François's life.
"Appearance deceives" deals with topics that are more topical than ever, such as unemployment and discrimination in a comedy key. The text, full of humor and "politically incorrect" jokes, is taken from the French film of the same name from 2000 written and directed by Francis Veber , former author of "La cena dei cretini".
